1. Generally, small cold storage uses fully enclosed compressors. Medium-sized cold storage generally uses
semi-hermetic compressors. Large cold storages use semi-hermetic compressors or screw compressors.
2. Evaporator: Generally, high-temperature warehouses use fans as evaporators, which are characterized by
fast cooling, but can easily cause moisture loss in refrigerated products; medium- and low-temperature cold
storages mainly use evaporation pipes made of seamless steel pipes, which It is characterized by good constant
temperature effect and the ability to store cold in a timely manner.
3. Condenser: The condenser has air cooling, water cooling and combination of air and water cooling methods.
Air cooling is limited to small cold storage equipment, while water-cooled condensers can be used in all forms
of refrigeration systems.
4. Thermal expansion valve: Thermal expansion valve is divided into internal balanced expansion valve and external
balanced expansion valve. The evaporator inlet pressure is felt under the diaphragm of the internal balanced
expansion valve; while the evaporator inlet pressure is felt under the diaphragm of the external balanced expansion
valve. is the evaporator outlet pressure.
5. Liquid storage tank: stores Freon to ensure that the refrigerant is always saturated.
6. Solenoid valve: prevent the high-pressure part of the refrigerant liquid from entering the evaporator when the
compressor is stopped, avoid excessive low pressure when the compressor starts next time, and prevent compressor
liquid shock. In addition, when the temperature in the cold storage reaches the set value, the thermostat activates
and the solenoid valve loses power. When the low pressure reaches the shutdown set value, the compressor stops.
When the temperature in the cold storage rises to the set value, the thermostat activates and the solenoid valve shuts
down. When the low-pressure pressure rises to the compressor start-up setting value, the compressor starts.
7. High and low pressure protector: protect the compressor from excessive high pressure and low pressure.
8. Thermostat: It is equivalent to the brain of the cold storage that controls the start and stop of refrigeration, defrost,
and the opening and closing of the fan.
9. Filter dryer: filters impurities and moisture in the system.
10. Oil pressure protector: ensures that the compressor has enough lubricating oil.
11. Oil separator: Its function is to separate the lubricating oil in the high-pressure steam discharged from the
refrigeration compressor to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the device. According to the oil separation
principle of reducing the air flow speed and changing the air flow direction, the oil particles in the high-pressure
steam are separated under the action of gravity. Generally, if the air flow speed is below 1m/s, oil particles with a
diameter of more than 0.2mm contained in the steam can be separated. There are four commonly used oil separators:
washing type, centrifugal type, packing type and filter type.
12. Evaporator pressure regulating valve: It prevents the evaporator pressure (and evaporation temperature) from
falling below the specified value. Sometimes it is also used to adjust the evaporator pressure to adapt to load changes.
